It was a Very Merry Christmas!

We had a pretty great Christmas this year. We feel very blessed that we were able to spend it together. Our festivities started on Christmas Eve as they always do. It has been our tradition the past few years to have a big dinner and open all of the family gifts that night. We started the night with a great dinner of ham and funeral potatoes, not to mention all of the other things. There was a ton for just my family and Chris.
Then we moved on to opening presents. This year it was really special because my mom and J-Me joined us via the web cam. Not as cool as them being here, but it was still pretty cool.

Always open pajamas first.

Then we opened all of the rest.

After Chris opened his presents he decorated.

Mostly we just created a huge mess that we have yet to recover from.

Then we played games- Blink (which I happen to be terrible at) and then we played Cooties.

One of the highlights of the night was our "Captain Hammer" apparel. We all got one.

The next morning the girls woke up and we did stockings and Santa presents.

The Girls opening stockings.

This was one of Ali's favorite things that she got. It is a Brumbee doll from "Yo Gabba Gabba"

Ryen was super excited about her Webkinz until she saw..............

She has been asking for a pic of "Starry Starry Night" forever.

After Chris and Serena came over and we made breakfast burritos and visited. We spent a little time talking to the Weaver side of our family, via web cam, which was, again, really cool.

The rest of the day was spent watching movies, playing the Wii Fit, and enjoying each others company. That evening we had some new friends come over for a little while and play. It was a great day. I guess we were done taking pictures because I don't have any of the rest of the days events, so you will just have to trust me-it was great!
