Fun with the Fam

This weekend we traveled to Utah with Wick and Evan to visit the rest of our family. Saturday we were supposed to go and see Dal play football, but alas it rained like crazy so we spent the day at the Hampshire house instead. (on a side note, Dalon's team won the game and he was covered in head to toe mud. Congrats Dal)

I love this picture. I wish it wasn't so dark. This is all of us-Grandma, her kids, and her grandkids.

It was the first time in a long time that we had all of the grandkids together. Wick and I were missing our significant others, so not all of the kids were there. It was so fun to see them all play together. We went to dinner at Wingers and then came back and had cake and ice cream to celebrate all of the birthdays that come before the end of the year--Dalon, Travis, Evan, Aaron, Brandi, J-Me, and Grandma Connie. So, you know, just a few of us. The older kids and Wick then played a rousing game of Twister.
It was so funny to watch. This was one of my favorite things we did that day.
While the younger kids watched and played. They later played hide and go seek. I have to say that the younger kids were hiding really well. One time Kira came out after everyone had been found and said "Nobody came and found me." She was right, she was hiding so well that they forgot that she was there.
It is amazing that we have all of these gorgeous little ones. It doesn't seem like that long ago that we were playing hide and go seek in our yard on 1966 West. Time goes by way too fast.
