1.Hands down our favorite part of 2009 was being with Grandma so much this year. She was able to come and stay with us for a few months and we were able to make a few trips up to see her. We did a lot of fun things with her, but it just having her here that was the bestest!!
2. I think the best three days we had in 2009 were in the happiest place on earth, Disneyland. It was so much fun. Randy and I loved taking Ryen back and seeing it through Ali's eyes for the first time. It was all about the girls and it was just fantastic!!
3. Chris was a big part of 2009 for us. We always have so much fun when we get together. Just some of the reasons Chris helped make 2009 awesome--there were movies, too many restaurants to name, dinners at his house, dinners at our house, playing with the dogs, playing in the pool, parties, movies, Big Bang Theory, dates with the girls, family celebrations, and more stuffed animals then any two little girls will ever need. Most of all he has been a great friend and has helped make the transition here so much easier.
4. This summer we were able to spend 3 days with the Weaver side of our family in Zions. It was so beautiful there and it was great to catch up with family. One of the shining moments of the reunion was watching Ali play with all of the critters like frogs and Snakes!!
5. We had some great fun as a family this year. Most of it spent in our home, we love, watching movies or playing the Wii. We also had great fun doing some of the things around town. Going to Madame Tussauds and seeing Sesame Street Live were among some of our favorites.
6.One of the coolest things by far this year, were all of the great friends that came to see us. One of the greatest moments was when Kaz and Smitty surprised us by showing up at our door. By far the biggest surprise of the year.
7. 2009 was the year that I really felt my kids had just gone and grown up. Ali started preschool and Ryen took her first vacation solo. Ah....8. One of our favorite things we were able to do this year was go to Utah and visit friends and family. One of our most favorite moments was of course going to Moochies.
9. Randy and I were fortunate enough to go on some really great dates this year. We were able to see KA, watch our Utes play football, see Toad live, and just spend some great time together.
10. One of my favorite moments of 2009 was November 14. We spent the day with friends celebrating the birthday of the Marine Corps. and then Ryen and I were off to see So You Think You Can Dance. Rye and I have been watching SYTYCD for 4 or 5 seasons. It is one of my favorite things that we do, so seeing it live was a real so fun.
