One of my favorite directors, John Hughes, died today. He wrote and directed some of my most favorite movies.........

16 CandlesSeriously, some of the best. When I look back at my childhood so much of my nights were spent with his characters. Some of the others he did were National Lampoon's Vacation, Home Alone, Maid in Manhattan, Weird Science, Mr. Mom, The Great Outdoors, and one of my most favorite Christmas movies of all time Christmas Vacation. So sad.
